The Space Forum for Green Energy, part of the ESA Commercialisation Days series, will bring together key stakeholders from the green energy and space technology sectors to foster increased collaboration and discover how space-based solutions can accelerate the transition to green energy in Europe and beyond.
We will be looking at the latest trends and user needs across the green energy sector, helping you to find out more about the promising space technologies-based products and services from start-ups and industrial players, and meet ESA experts to understand how you can work with us and benefit from our funding opportunities and expertise.
Join us in Paris for two days of panel discussions, keynote speeches, elevator pitches and networking opportunities focusing around two key areas:
Energy sustainability: the commercialisation of space-based technologies to help leverage renewable energy in the context of the energy transition.
Energy resilience: the commercialisation of space-based technologies to help ensure continuous and affordable energy supply.
The event will also feature a networking cocktail dinner, with both speakers and participants, on a boat on the Seine in the heart of Paris.
Please note that registrations close on 9 April, 2024 and that online attendance is not possible.

Agenda
What will I learn?
The need for innovative developments is key to securing a sustainable, continuous and affordable energy supply and this event will demonstrate how space solutions can support the green energy sector with energy generation and improvements to forecasts. As the global climate changes, space solutions can monitor weather events for risk reduction and offer communication in remote areas. By listening to the needs of green energy actors, commercial space-based solutions can be developed to overcome the challenges of securing a climate proof future providing sustainable, accessible energy for everyone.
Space-based solutions will play a key role in combating the climate crisis and enabling a green future. By attending this event you will find out more about how ESA supports and promotes innovative developments using space applications and data, how you can start to collaborate with us and what technical assistance and funding is available.
Who should attend?
Stakeholders from across the wider green energy sector including those working in the hydro, ocean, solar and wind energy sectors, space technology providers working in the green energy sector, institutions and investors with an interest in the green transition.
What does it cost?
There is a charge of 150 Euro to attend the event. All sessions and dinner are included.
Please note that registrations close on 9 April, 2024 and that online attendance is not possible.
