Maybe some things are best left alone :D Apart from the extreme heat, Venus has a pretty toxic atmosphere and its clouds are filled with sulfuric acid. It's funny though that it's hotter than Mercury (although Mercury is closer to the sun). Any idea why?

I have never thought of the possibility of having our pets in space with us, but it sure sounds like a good idea! I obviously don't see myself moving to Mars LOL, but if I ever do, I would definitely want to take my cat with me :D

Do you think we will ever be able to see the Big Bang? By we, I mean humanity, maybe years and years from now. Will there ever be a strong enough telescope to see that far into the past?

Hey guys! I just want to add that I was able to see it last night. It was so amazing. I don't have a telescope, so I just looked for the moon and was hoping to notice something different, and there it was! It looked like a tiny little dot on the left side of the moon. It was so cool :)

I doubt it will ever be available to us regular people. I personally see recreational space travel as a huge waste right now. It hurts the environment and just seems pointless. Musk's team of scientists have done some amazing things, but it's just ridiculous to look at space travel as a joyride.

I totally agree with you, Mars. There are so many things in the world that need our attention at the moment instead of space travel. Although it is interesting and sounds like fun, maybe it should be on the backburner for now.

Juno, I've read that one too; he was a brilliant man. The 1991 film with the same name is worth a watch if you haven't already seen it. The film covers the life of Stephen Hawkings.

Belinda, thanks for the book suggestion. I'll have to check that one out.

I've heard of the book, but never read it. I didn't know there was a movie about it either. I will definitely check it out. He was a brilliant man, indeed.

I don't really have an opinion on whether the government has made contact with aliens or not; however, I do believe in the possibility that other life could exist on other planets. I feel that it would be narrow-minded to think we're alone in this Universe.

Mars will be visible and at its closest to our planet on December 8th according to NASA! From what I read, we get to see the red planet in our night sky every 2 years. However, I have never spotted it. Has anyone ever seen Mars?
