    One thing nobody's mentioned yet is how the Moon helped slow down Earth's rotation over time. Without it, days would be waaay shorter, maybe just a few hours long. Imagine trying to sleep or farm with a sunrise every 6 hours, lol. Our bodies and daily routines would have to totally change.


    the night sky would be crazy dark without the Moon lighting things up. That might sound nice for stargazers, but a lot of animals (and maybe even early humans) relied on moonlight to hunt or move around at night. So yeah, losing the Moon would mess with way more than just tides and seasons... it would change almost everything about life here!

    cool to see so many Venus fans here! I’m also a big fan of the Venus Express mission… I mean, it lasted way longer than originally planned and gave us loads of new info about the planet. Not totally sure, but I think it even changed how we see Venus compared to before.

    Yeah, space-based solar power is super sci-fi but honestly, the tech is nuts.     Nice points so far! I don’t own a drone myself, but a buddy let me try his once — it's way harder to fly than I thought, nearly crashed it into a tree lol. Was just in a park filming some ducks, but honestly, you do get a different view of things from above.     This may be a stupid question, but where do you all even get your main lenses or mirrors for dsa DIY-Tele-Fieber? I’ve seen some ppl recommend just grabbing lens kits online, but I’m not sure myself if that’s good enough quality… For my own little project, I just used some old optics from a broken binocular, worked surprisingly okay (but vll not “pro” level lol).

    Also, is it normal to struggle with aligning the optics at first? Took me forever to get a clear image. 😅 What’s your biggest “Aha!” moment so far during building? Can’t wait to hear what you think!

    ich find das Thema auch richtig spannend! Also, was die Antriebe angeht: Ein normaler Jet oder Propeller funktioniert halt unter Wasser gar nicht, wegen Dichte und so. Raketen könnten theoretisch gehen, aber die sind unpraktisch für Unterwasser. Vielleicht gibt's ja sowas wie einen Magnetohydrodynamik-Antrieb (MHD), der keinen Propeller braucht? Hatten die Japaner in den 90ern mal getestet, aber war laut Berichten ineffizient...😅
