Dream mission

hey folks, figured i'd drop in while my coffee is still pretending to work. was staring at the night sky yesterday — you know, that classic “wow the universe is huge and i still forgot to do laundry” moment — and it got me thinking about dream missions.

like… if i could magically shove myself onto any spacecraft without the whole training, muscle‑degeneration, maybe‑you-explode part, i think i'd go for something *weirdly* remote. not mars, not the moon. i’m talking one of those icy outer‑solar‑system places where the sun is basically a decorative dot. europa, enceladus, titan — any of those spots where scientists keep saying “there *might* be life,” which in space‑speak seems to mean “we’re dying to be wrong or right, doesn’t matter which.”

part of me just loves the idea of touching down on some alien ice field, staring into an ocean nobody has ever seen, and thinking “yeah… figures this place looks more organized than my apartment.” maybe drop a probe, poke a plume, try not to freeze instantly. tiny goals.
