SpaceX is preparing for another major expansion of its Starship infrastructure. The company has announced plans for a huge new launch site on the Gulf Coast of Louisiana, known as Starbase Louisiana.
The project is expected to involve roughly $100 billion in investment and could eventually become one of the largest launch complexes ever built.
But one part of the story has caused some confusion online: claims that SpaceX could launch more than 1,000 rockets per year as early as 2027.
