ESA Commercialisation, Industry and Competitiveness directorate participates as a member of the organising collective and strategic ecosystem partner of Les Assises du NewSpace event, alongside national and industrial actors (Centre National d’Études Spatiales, Airbus, Groupement des Industries Françaises Aéronautiques et Spatiales – GIFAS, and others).
Les Assises du NewSpace, taking place on 7-8 July 2026 in Paris, is the premier French NewSpace Summit that brings together key stakeholders in the emerging space economy — including startups, industry leaders, policymakers and researchers — to discuss innovation, market opportunities, policy and the future of the space sector in France and Europe.
The event features roundtables, workshops, and showcases that explore new applications, customer insights, financing and strategic developments within NewSpace.
In this role, ESA helps ensure that European perspectives and programmes are part of the discussions shaping the future of the NewSpace economy in France and Europe, contributing to debates on innovation, policy, and industry development.
